What is The Good Peel's Daily AHA Body Lotion
The Good Peel's Daily AHA Body Lotion (35%) is a strong-strength AHA body lotion (infused with lactic acid) that can be used to exfoliate the skin on a daily basis. It helps to remove dark spots, and keratosis pilaris (chicken skin) gradually and also enhances the absorption of skin lightening products used topically.
Our lotion contains all-natural ingredients and the effective use of Lactic Acid, at a strength of 35%, is really where the magic of exfoliation begins. Lactic Acid Exfoliants have been used for decades, by goddesses and kings (who used to bathe in lactic acid milk baths) to both brighten, and exfoliate the surface layers of the skin. You can expect brighter, clearer skin from using this lotion on a daily basis.

Is the 35% AHA Lotion better?
Our 35% AHA Lactic Acid Body Lotion is great for those desiring a more rigorous form of exfoliation. Although Lactic Acid is a very mild peeling agent and unlikely to cause irritation for most people, it is advisable that you do not use this higher strength AHA lotion without being familiar with AHA products. A good starting point is using our 25% Lactic Acid Body Lotion before using this higher strength formula.
Guidance & Precautions
Directions for use:
Begin with a one-time daily application of the lotion after cleansing. Apply the lotion twice per day, day and night, after cleansing the skin for a stronger peeling effect. If obvious superficial peeling occurs on one or more areas of skin, do not re-apply the lotion and allow the dead skin to peel.
When applying Alpha Hydroxy Acids, like Lactic Acid, use with caution as the fresh skin layer will be more sensitive to sunlight and other skincare products. Apply sunscreen when exposed to sunlight, and discontinue if redness or irritation occurs (very rare).
For external use only. Keep out of the reach of children. Avoid direct contact with the eyes, if contact occurs rinse thoroughly with water.
Can The AHA Daily Body Lotion solve my hyperpigmentation?
→ The Good Peel's Daily AHA Body Lotion can be an effective solution to hyperpigmentation, dependant on the extent of the hyper-pigmentation. Lactic Acid is a mild exfoliant, and will remove the surface layer of dead skin. It does not penetrate into the deeper layers of skin where some hyperpigmentation might exist.
However, it is considered the safest option when compared to all other AHA's and for this reason, it can be used on a daily basis. Daily exfoliation will lead to a massive reduction in hyperpigmentation. The skin lightening and brightening properties of Lactic Acid make it the more favourable option for those interested in skin lightening.
