What Is Snow White Powder?
Snow White Powder (also known as Tawas Powder Crystals) is a natural plant powder, originating from the deepest parts of the Philippines. It is a well-known skin lightening agent and a natural deodorizer. In its natural form it can be applied directly and used as a deodorizing agent, added to scrubs, or dissolved to be added to creams and lotions. It is entirely water-soluble and has a stable pH range from 3.0 to 6.5.
Snow White powder is compatible with most skin lightening actives including SepiWhite, GigaWhite, Alpha Arbutin, and Kojic Acid and the like.
Note: Avoid mixing too many powders into one lotion, aim for no more than 3 active skin lightening ingredients in one formulation.
Guidance & Precautions
To add Snow White Powder to your skin lightening cream or natural brightening lotion, it involves a very easy 3 step process.
1. Ensure all your ingredients are ready. 1) Any base cream 2) Show White Powder 3) Distilled Water. You will also require two pots (a smaller and a larger one).
2) Mix 1 teaspoon (about 5 grams) in with a small amount of water. Use the double boiling method. Place the mixture (whilst still in it's original pot) onto another pot with water under heat (like a stove). Wait until the powder has fully dissolved (it will only take a few minutes - it should not be grainy or powdery).
