The Good Peel's Daily AHA Body Lotion (25%) is a strong-strength AHA body lotion (infused with lactic acid) that helps to remove dark spots, improve keratosis pilaris (chicken skin), and enhance the absorption of skin-lightening topicals. 

Our LA lotion contains all-natural ingredients, and at a strength of 25%, this is where the magic of exfoliation really begins. Lactic Acid is a mild exfoliant that has been around for decades, it was used by goddesses and kings (who used to bathe in lactic acid milk baths) around the world the brighten the skin and exfoliates the top surface layers of the skin. You can expect brighter, clearer skin with regular use.

Directions for use: 

For regular use - 

Apply the lotion at night twice or three times per week.

For intense peeling - 

Apply the lotion twice per-day, day and night for 3-4 days or until the skin appears dry, chapped, and ready to peel. Once the skin has started peeling or flaking, discontinue using the lotion. Allow the dead skin to peel off gradually over the course of a week. Do not pick or peel at the skin to prevent post-peel hyperpigmentation.

Precautions:

When applying Alpha Hydroxy Acids, like Lactic Acid, exercise caution as the new skin layers will be more sensitive to sunlight and other skincare products. Apply sunscreen when exposed to sunlight, and discontinue if redness or irritation occurs (very rare).

For external use only. Keep out of the reach of children. Avoid direct contact with the eyes, if contact occurs rinse thoroughly with water.

→ The Good Peel's Daily AHA Body Lotion can be an effective solution to hyperpigmentation, dependant on the extent of the hyper-pigmentation. Lactic Acid is a mild exfoliant, and will remove the surface layer of dead skin. It does not penetrate into the deeper layers of skin where some hyperpigmentation might exist.

However, it is considered the safest option when compared to all other AHA's and for this reason, it can be used on a daily basis.  Daily exfoliation will lead to a massive reduction in hyperpigmentation. The skin lightening and brightening properties of Lactic Acid make it the more favourable option for those interested in skin lightening.
